We needed both a seller’s agent AND a buyer’s agent at the same time! We had been referred to Anita through friends. We were ready to sell our first home and move to another larger home in another community. We contacted Anita in the Spring and told her we REALLY wanted to move that Summer before the new school year would begin for our child.

The market was starting to decline, so we knew we had to sell quickly to be able to capture the most equity and yet find a new home in our price range in the right school district. We also needed to close THE SAME DAY.

Anita helped us price our home to meet the market conditions, created a virtual tour for our home for Internet consumers, and communicated with us all the time! We always had feedback from showings, Open Houses; we knew how many people had viewed our property online and most importantly, Anita gave us advice on how to respond to it all.

At the same time, she showed us properties that we were interested in, gathered information and helped us assess whether or not the house was worth the price as buyers. It’s crazy selling and buying at the same time, but Anita gave us the professional advice we needed from both perspectives.

We encountered some very strange and nerve-wracking scenarios in the course of our home buying process that had us wondering whether or not we would ever see the light at the end of the tunnel. Anita’s “hold steady” attitude kept us on track.

We are now in a home that we absolutely LOVE, in a neighborhood that is so kid and family-friendly, we couldn’t have dreamed it any better.

We continue to refer Anita to family and friends as OUR real estate advocate. More importantly, we now call her “friend.”

We flew in for a weekend to look at houses never dreaming we’d put a new condo under agreement in one day! We were faced with the daunting task of transitioning to new jobs; moving halfway across the country and finding a home are high on the list of life stressors.

Before we ever met in person, Anita was counseling us online and trying to prepare us for the shock of Massachusetts housing costs after living in the Midwest for many years. We had never owned a home before, so we were even more nervous with the thought of buying much less in an area we did not know. Anita kept the whole transaction on track and we closed a month later.

We could never have accomplished finding a home on our own, especially as first-time, out-of-state buyers. We are still sharing with people the miracles we experienced throughout the whole process. We would recommend to anyone, especially new home-buyers, to use Anita as their real estate advocate.
